Try reuploading the files and checking their permissions.

Uploaded the files a few hours ago.
I updated to the current build because the captcha didn't work anymore (and also a few PHP "deprecated" problems ).

Checked the permissions but didn't know what they should be, so went looking for a readme, found it and changed the "tmp" and "public" directories to 777.
Now it's working

Did the same with the old guestbook ("tmp" and "public" had 755) but still no captcha. Hmm, maybe has something to do with those PHP "deprecated" problems

The visitors are mainly kids who's native language is not english, so they may have a hard time figuring out some of those questions.

Probably better to switch to the Lazarus version and use a simple question in dutch.
The Solvemedia anti bot test is nice but still a bit troublesome for the kids.
