Hi everybody,

recently i tranfered my domain and Guestbook to another website hoster, just copied all files, but didn't copied the MySQL database xxx.sql, and it worked with all old guestbook entries! And i didn't even create a new MySQL database at the new hoster, it seemed me very strange, i wonder if it works without MySQL database?

Could someone explain me the reason? thanks a lot!

Cheers,

Jeff

I suspect that your database location in config.inc.php is something like db.hostname.com and so you are still connecting to the old hosts database.
