Hi , I have recently changed my host provider and would like to upload my backup database to the new server,
My old server ran version 2.3.1 and I have the zipped copy backup on my pc.

The new server has AG 2.4.4 installed.

I have tried to restore backup but it doesn't see it.
My username for old one kjv1611_agbook1.sql
Whereas the new empty one is kjvorguk_agbook1.sql Is that the problem?
I tried using myphpadmin and in the screen it showed I had uploaded the database but the 2 were separate 11 files for new (2.4.4) and 10 files for old 2.3.1
How can I get the new guestbook to show the old database?

Thanks again for looking at my problem.
I am a novice so idiot proof would be a easier for me to understand

Well for a start you should of just used phpMyAdmins imp;ort/export functionality. Anyway just edit the config.inc.php file so that it points to the database containing the old entries and not the new ones. Then you need to open the update file you will find in the misc folder of your guestbook.
