hello Lloyd,

i was looking your guestbook...
wow nice look you created there;

Now...i like that look
i wanna use that to...

but now the hard thing...
i just running the Advanced Guestbook...with only 1 entry (mine as test)

how can i install yours now? just copy all the files over the old ones?

Sorry, but it's not quite that simple.

The files I've made available are EXACTLY what I'm running. So you'd need to take out the changes I made to a few of the files so that my web site page template was being used.

You would also need to add some fields to two of the database tables.

I think most of what you need to know is covered in the readme file I added.

well i was interested in the complete layout of Lloyd's Guestbook
including the mods
it's a great look...nice collors etc...

but one thing...i try to add the msn Yahoo mod...
but i don't know how to place 2 extra fields in the database

i don't find the phpMyAdmin inlog screen

Wel here is the file I have for the MSN/Yahoo mod. According to the instructions you just overwrite your guestbook with this one but keep your config.inc.php file.

Chaning the look of your guestbook is just a case of editting the templates as both Lloyd and I have done.

owkay found it...
in book_private and book_data
type varchar
length 70
standardvalue 0

guestbook works but din't show the msn and yahoo fields in the adminpanel...

Great mod that you have made, now I was wondering whether you could split the mod so that we can use the flag/country mod without having to install the whole guestbook

If I can find the time I'll look into it. I doubt it's that hard to do. I'm actually using his country flag idea in the guestbook script I am writing, eventually.

ok so i know lloyd doesnt have time for this, but does someone else?

and about adding smilies....do i just upload all the extra ones and will the GB show them? or is it more difficut then that?
