Hello,

Since a while I didn't knew my password for my advanced guestbook. That was strange because i was very sure about it.....

After a visit on this forum i noticed i could backup my password by surfing to guestbook/misc/forget_pass.php, so i did. i filled in my database, username en password.

After i did that, my guestbook is offline. with this error:

And that's not it. Also my joomla site is offline now. What did i do wrong. Please help! Thanks

Sounds like your host has changed something in the MySQL server. You need to speak to them about it.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
Do you really think thats the reason? I still can add new databases my cpanel. I think its very strange because after i checked forgot_pass.php also my joomla-site is down.

i will try to contact my host anyway. Hope they can solve this problem.

Yes it's either that or your host has just upgraded to PHP 5/MySQL 5 and disabled MySQL in favour of MySQLi
