Upgrading from Advanced Poll 2.08 to Advanced Poll 2.09

Hi,

I want to upgrade from Advanced Poll 2.08 to Advanced Poll 2.09.

Is it sufficient to just upload the new files (except config.inc.php) to my server or do I need to remove the advanced poll installation before?

Thanks! I already tried it and it seems to work without problems.
Only drawback is - since no upgrade-script is provided - the version number of advanced poll which is stored in the database. This must be updated to 2.09 manually.

I'm on my mobile right now so can't check but I believe there is an upgrade script in misc folder you just visit it in you Web browser.

Hi, I'm trying to update to 2.09 from 2.08, but I'm using the text version of the pool and when replacing the files it bombs left right and center. Is there any procedure to upgrade?

I am moving my guestbook to a new domain because i will be moving hosters shortly and wanted to make sure the guestbook remained live while i moved hosters..............
