Does anyone have a fix for text running off of a page.
Look at entry #150, #155, #78 at http://www.troymcmanus.com/guestbook

It only seems to happen on replys to comments.
Did you happen to add the Alt tag on the smilies so it matches the Emotion that you set in the admin section for smilies
Ahh that's great
Also, I'd love to test the upcoming beta on my site. Just let me know.

Oh, forgot to tell you where you can see the mods.

It would be a really nice enhancement if you could add the smiley parsing routine so that more smileys can appear on the add entry and comments sections. I made an enhancement on mine, but basically had to hard code it.

Just a thought, but it would be really nice
I resolved it by insuring all the files were the correct version

Thanks Carbonize
I updated all the scripts in the lib directory, still no luck.
And I did upgrade from the old version.
Ahh. Somehow I have lib scripts from the old version of the guestbook.
THey say Advanced Guestbook 2.2
Should I just replace all the lib scripts with the 2.3.1 versions ?

I did download from this site.
The entry number 173 has a picture also that I can see from administration. But it's not showing up in the main guestbook area.
I have the same issue as another posting in this forum. When people upload pictures, they don't show up in the main guestbook area.
I tried the suggestion of
Set the BASE_URL in admin/config.inc.php

It is set as follows:
$GB_PG["base_url"] = "http://www.troymcmanus.com/guestbook";

I can see the pictures fine when viewing from the admin section.

Carbonize, do you have a possible solution ?

Thanks.
Could someone tell me if it's fairly easy to add the date & time to a reply comment. Right now all that shows is the person's name. I'd like to have the date & time show up as it does when a new entry is added to the guestbook. (ie, Sunday, February 27, 2005 01:42 PM )

The guestbook is currently at http://www.troymcmanus.com/guestbook/

I made a couple of other cool mods, such as ability to add smilies on a reply comment. Check it out.
I have the exact same problem. I'm going to take a look at the suggestion by Carbonize about the base_url in the config.inc.php.
If that fixes the problem, I'll let you know.

Special thanks to Carbonize for all the tech support he provides - u rule man
You edit the config.inc.php under the admin directory and put your database info in. Then upload the guestbook directory and and use the install.php to install.
Once I have successful login to the admin page, when I click on any of the links such as General Settings, it kicks me back to the login page.
Does anyone know how to resolve ?
