What a fantastic forum this is - yesterday morning i knew nothing about php, but with your help I have managed to make this-
http://www.thegeekgirl.co.uk/bandonly.html
I have encrypted the email addresses, removed all admin links, installed the antispam mod and disabled html in posts, and I'm STILL paranoid about it being hacked!
I would really appreciate it if someone has the time to have a look and see if I've done it right and check it's secure.

Many many thanks

Thanks. not bad for a total php newbie even tho I do say so myself.
As long as it's all secure and unhackable, I guess it's ready to be released to the public

Just one quick question- If I modified the permissions to change the templates, do I need to change them back to anything? Will this present a security risk?

Thankus maximus

Thanks.

Just one stupid question - what should they be set to?!

All my folders are set to 755 apart from public & tmp which are 777
My files are all set to 644

Is this right?!

Apologies for my ignorance and thanks for the help!
