Advanced Guestbook - Username/PW Retrieval  XML

Greetings!

I have set up the Advanced Guestbook on my website some time ago, and I'd like to access the administrative features. However, I've forgotten both the Username and Password for it.

Is there any way where I can find the information or change it? Is that information stored in a file on my server? Thanks!

If you left the default settings, it is test for username, and 123 for the password.

I've got a question that goes along with this one.

When I log in for first time using test and 123, i want to change password, but it asks for current user name, current pass, and new pass. So i'm using test and 123 as current user and pass, then I type my new pass in but all I get is an error saying 'passwords do not match'. any suggestions?

Has anybody found out how to change the username and password because I get the same error as YakHerder i.e. when I type in new password it says "passwords do not match"

Cheers

To change your password type your new password in the current password box and the Confirm new password box and then click submit settings.

Simply overtype the username i.e overtype the 'test' with whatever username you want to use. Same with the password.
Click submit and return to the guestbook.
Then you can check by returning to 'admin', enter your new name/pword and it should accept them.
