guestbook parse erro

Hi there, i installed Advanced Guestbook on my site, hosted on tripod Spain. i'm receiving this error message on top of my index page, what could be my error.

Parse error: parse error in gb.class.php(54) : eval()'d code on line 9

It's an enabled setting in the php.in that you should disable
(the magic_quotes stuff..."magic_quotes_runtime and magic_quotes_gpc" to be exactly)

So, as far as you can't change this setting (and on tripod your chances are pretty low) there is now fast way to get it running)
