I haven't slept all night. First thing I got out of bed I turned my PC on, and continued till now my useless efforts trying to just start an installation procedure for Advanced Poll. 'Till now I thought of my self not being stupid but now I don't know any more. I have read almost every topic concerning AP...

This is what I did so far:

- I created folder on my server pool. First I went for the text version of the pool. So I copied all folders and files from the textfile folder to pool folder on my server.

- The server I use is on NT, so I have to use Hosting Controller web interface to change folder permissions. I did not want to risk anything so I gave full permission to system and web.

- The next step should be running admin.php script. I point my browser to www.mydomain.com/pool/admin/index.php and I get 404 - file not found. And it's there I just uploaded it with ftp and I see it with my eyes.

Although I gave all the permissions to pool folder I copied it to WWW folder and again pointed my browser to www.mydomain.com/pool/admin/index.php and I got "You are not authorized to view this page", without being asked for any password or login!!!

I tried installing database version too, but when I access install.php with my browser it starts downloading the file!!!! and asks me where to save it!!! I'm using IE6.0.

So, although I have read all the topics about AP and have noticed that a lot of people have problems installing it I am the worst case by far. Could not start the install and admin scripts...

Can anyone please help me? I'm very close to killing someone after an unslept night!!!
