Advanced Poll Broken Graphics

Hi - I'm a coding newbie so it's probably something really basic, but I've done three installs of Advanced Poll so far and each time I can't install it because all the graphics are broken.

The first missing graphic for example is here http://www.mydomain.com/~poll/pollphp/textfile/image/key.gif

Might this be a permissions thing or a ascii / binary upload thing?

If your example is supposed to be a real example, it fails. But then again, I am confused as to HOW you have arrived at the example URL you have given. Even presuming that you have the poll installed correctly, what is

~poll/pollphp/textfile

supposed to be? That is NOT a directory with which I am familiar. "KEY.GIF" should be in the directory

poll/images

. It would seem that you have something very mixed up.

After surfing your directorys, I found that image at http://www.talkaboutsony.com/poll/image/key.gif

You need to change the paths to reflect the correct url

Thanks Jared ... well I looked in admin/index.php and can't find any way to do that, besides which why on earth did it set up incorrectly when all I did was to FTP the files up to /poll ?!

Well, what you can do is edit the config file manually.

This file is in the include directory and is called config.inc.php

Edit the first line to /poll
Edit the second line to /poll/image

That should fix it.
