This usually only happens when people update from 2.2 to 2.3.x and don't alter the database. Have any files or the database been altered recently?

What do you think phpmyadmin is? book_auth is part of your database.

In book_auth you should have a field called LAST_VISIT which should be of the type timestamp.

Okay. Maybe I am the only one to do this but because after running that zip and going in under the defaults I tried to change my settings and it always reset them. Stupid me thought maybe I could edit the config file so it would match the username and passwords I was trying to set as my logins. Now..... you guessed it.. I cant do squat with it. Is there a way to re install the config.php file and get new info?

Simply get your database info from cPanel and replace it in the config file.

Depends on what the error messages are. As to the former you should see a SQL link in amongst all the other links. As cPanel uses skins I couldn't say precisely where the link is.
