[ap-db] Resetting Poll ID?  XML

Hey everyone,

Is there a way to reset the Poll ID? The Demo Polls that you get when installing Advanced Poll are labeled 1 till 3. However, if you delete these polls and create a new one it will be labeled as Poll ID 4 and so on. Is there a way to start with Poll ID 1 again? My thought are that I have to change something in the database because the ID numbers are remembered. When you create a new Poll and immediately delete it and create another one the ID number goes up. Anyone knows the solution to this?

A big thanks for any help.

Regards,
Cade

Why don't you just modify the first 3?

In MySQl if you specify that a field is to be an INT and auto incrementing then even if you delelte a number it will carry on from where it was and not from the current highest number. Even though you delete posts 1, 2 and 3 they cannot be remade.

like the guy said, mod the first three.

or if you savvy with MySQL and phpMyAdmin you just edit the fields if you've already deleted the polls.

Now why didn't I think of that?

I already had deleted those polls and editing the MySQL database was a bit too complicated for me so I reinstalled the poll and like Duilen said, modified the first 3 Polls.

Anyway, thanks guys for the info!
