I have a strange problem - after installing and setting the colors etc. I tested the AG and all was fine. So I published.
However no name or message is displayed. I am not sure if it's the colors or another problem.
Picture upload was allowed and worked (I disabled that in the meantime). What I don't get is why it worked while testing but not now.
This is the URL: Guestbook 2.3.1

A look at the source code is confusing too .. it seems to not take any entries for name or message fields.

Nope.
The only settings I changed are the ones in "styles".
As mentioned - it worked fine at the beginning. *clueless*

Did you download the guestbook from here or did your hosts supply it? It may be worth redownloading it and overwriting your existing copy (except the config.inc.php file) with the new one to see if that fixes it.

My host supplied it and it was installed with Fantastico.
If I download it, do I just upload all files via FTP (except config.inc.php)?
I don't quite get why that should help but I will try it. Thanks.

hosts are renowned for messing with the scripts they give away with their packages. Yes just overwrite everything except your config file although it may be better to edit the new config file and use that instead.
