My Advanced Guestbook installation gets spammed regularly requiring me to remove the spam manually.

I've found a rather useful looking php script to add a visual confirmation box to scripts "Auditor" at http://php.webmaster-kit.com/. Installing it and adding the confirmation box to the form.php part of Advanced guestbook is easy enough but being a bit clueless in coding either php or javascript I can't work out how to patch it into form.php.

The form verification code seems to be written in javascript as part of the form.php component and I was wondering whether anyone here could workout how to use auditor with Advanced Guestbook, hopefully it will help others not just me as Advanced Guestbook does seem prone to spamming.

Thanks,
Paul

If you had bothered to read the Sticky thread that says read this before posting Advanced Guestbokk questions you would of seen that there are two methods of stopping guestbook spam already, one of which is image verification.

I just read that link and they are talking crap. We have already had this discussion in this forum and spammers do not spam for search engine placement, they spam to get their links out there for people to click.
