All you geek girls and geek boys out there: Not everyone is a 'php programmer. I'm an beginner-intermediate when it comes to PHP. I've designed websites using PHP and mySQL. But Adv Poll, despite it's coolness, lacks in the HELP DOCUMENTATION.
There is virtually NONE. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Then, we get people going "what, you want someone to hold your hand?" That's rude.
Come on, not everyone is PHP fluent. So when someone asks a question, that you may think is clear as day, think about the person on the other end who's having difficulty and they may actually not 'understand' it all. That's help desk technician 101 folks.
i've looked at the 'demos' and i'm utterly baffled at the 'mess of coding' involved here.
All i want is to have the poll comments show up.
it's that simple.
NOTE: I did look at demo 4 and 6 and I tried that, but i get a parsing error about the template. Since there is no documentation on how to use other templates.... I'm lost. As I see other people are.
so, what's the deal? should i go look for a more 'user friendly' poll script or stick with the one i've been using for a few years now????
see what crappy help documentation does? baffled users.
and why no 'upgrade' from ver 2.2 to ver 2.3 ? no documentation on that either...
