Advanced Poll - Creating Polls Outside The Poll Directory

Hey, so far advanced poll is doing exactly what I want and need it to do, except for one thing. Im using DHTML, and using polls outside of the poll directory. After changing the path to "poll_ssi.php" al worked fine, except that the cookie function doesn't seem to be working like it does when there is a poll inside the poll directory. "You have already voted" isn't displayed with the results, the question is just displayed. I know it must be possible to do this properly as there is a poll on your homepage.

Any help would be excellent, thank-you in advance.

look for .htaccess (that's if you server has this) and edit it adding these lines at the top....

Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes
AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .cgi
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .htm
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .dhtml

You then should be able to call it from an <include>
