admin panel images not linking

I've successfully loaded AP, FTP'd images folder to my pollphp main folder, and for some reason the images (password.gif, etc) aren't loading. I'm completely stumped. I've doublechecked file permissions (images folder is 777, if it matters). Any suggestions? Thanks

I had this exact same problem when I first installed AP (now I have a new problem). If I recall correctly, the glitch in my case was solved by corecting the path to my images folder in the General Settings.

Maybe you've already figured this out or I'm not remembering correctly? If so, maybe you can post your solution, just in case I have to re-install AP to solve my current problem--and can't remember how to solve this OLD one if it comes up again....
