I still have Spam. Why my security code is simple?

I have installed the 2.4.2. Now I have less spam, but still have. The letters generated are very simple and I think that robots can identify very well. I see here in the example of guestbook that the letters generated are more complex, bended, and over a lines background.

How can I activate this kind of lettes?

At a guess it looks like your host does not have GD compiled. GD is what PHP uses to generate graphics and so you end up with the plain bmp versions instead.
