cannot get Free Link Page 1.2 working.

After following all the install directions to the word I cannot get Free Link Page 1.2 working.

After trying to add a url I get:

Cannot create ID file links_id.txt in /home/usr/bdir/links. Please check your base directory.

Anyone managed to get this working?

I have tried many link adding scripts and cant get any to work, I think its the base directory being wrong, is there a way of checking exactly what the base directory is..

I tried pwd but that shows a url type version and not as expected a server side version. Well I am new to this!

I got /www/links
but thought I would get somthing more like
/home/usr/bdir/links

I tried chmod the links folder and all sub files to 666 and still it will not work

Anyone got any idea's I could try, please email me if you have.

try this for your base directorie path ../links If that does not work keep adding each folder in order / example [ ../web/links ] or [ ../html/web/links ] in the order they are placed in your sever!
