yeah it messed up the data in the database, goodness i posted that near on 3 weeks ago, i eventually solved the problem by using a different guestbook script, nowhere near as good but perfectly adequate for where i want it to go.

i am extremely pleased with the Advanced Guest Book, i have two copies of it working perfectly at two web sites on my web space, i now have a third web site that i would like to have the Advanced Guest book on it as well.

But everytime i install the third copy (with different names LOL), it ALWAYS messes up and/or overwrites my FIRST advanced guestbook, can anyone please explain why this happens and what i can do to avoid it keep happening.

hi chaps i just instaled a new copy of advanced guestbook i DID NOT change the username/password but whatever i type in i cant get to the admin page !!!!. otherwise it works fine

is the password and username kept in one of the files ?, could someone tell me please which file i can edit, please.
