Fixed the problem...

I actually had to add more than just the url, in between those quotes to work, now the whole line is:

$GB_PG["base_url"] = "http://diamax.no-ip.com/guestbook/";

That works.
Hello guys!

I've got another problem now.

I was changing some things on my Apache webserver (in httpd.conf, and hosts file), and now when I click on a pic, in the guestbook, the window that pops-up says: "The page cannot be found", but in admin panel works ok, it shows the pic the way it should. Anyone knows what I could've done wrong?!

P.S. BTW the new address of the guestbook is: http://diamax.no-ip.com/guestbook/index.php

Thank You!
I found the cause of why wasn't showing up the graphics.
In the "config.inc.php" file was no url setup.
If anyone else is having the same problem check the file mentioned above, and look for this line:

$GB_PG["base_url"] = ""; /* e.g htpp://www.yourdomain.com/guestbook/img */

Over there, in between the quotes, you need to put the url for your guestbook.

Thank you for trying to help anyway, the intention is important!
Could someone tell me how's the page generated? maybe I can figure out how to get rid of that backslash.

Thank You!

Hi, I would double check your settings in the admin panel... I had to set the url to my FULL url address, not just /poll

Hello Jeff!

I was looking in the admin panel, but I don't know exactly where to change that, please could you be more explicit?! I'm just a noob.
At first I tought is somewhere in "General Settings" but I don't see anywhere a place where I can change that... or maybe I'm just blind.
Well, now my guestbook is up and running... for the rest of the day.
However by putting "index.php" at the end of the url doesn't solve the problem. I already tried this: http://acasa.redirectme.net/index.php

Thank You!
Hello guys!

I'm a noob with all this stuff and do not know php, but I managed to install the Gusestbook, witch it is a great script, and very nice looking.

However I have a problem.
When I use Internet Explorer to view my guestbook, none of the graphics (pics, icons, etc) show.
If I use Mozila Firefox I can see the Guestbook just the way it should look, with all the graphics, complete.

I looked into the problem myself.
I opened the Guestbook using IE and I looked at the source code of the page. I've seen that in the image path for every icon there is a "\" (backslash), I'm pretty sure that is what causes the problem in IE, but I guess that Mozila Firefox ignores the backslash somehow.

Well I don't know how to get rid of that backslash in the image path of the graphics (by the way here it is an example of how one of those image paths looks: <img src="\/img/gbook.gif" width="140" height="15">

Weird enough, when I am in the administration panel, I can see all the graphics even with IE, but if I click on a picture, in the Easy Admin section, the window that pops-up shows no picture.

Could I get help fixing this, please?

Thank You!

P.S. This is the url to my guestbok: http://acasa.redirectme.net . But it is not up and running all the time, for now.
