Help! All of my guestbooks (across three or four sites) have just reverted to their default displays for no reason!
Any ideas anyone?!
Cheers
joel
That looks like just what I'm after.
I hope their forum is as good as this one!
Many thanks

Hello all
Just wondering if anyone knows of a good free php picture gallery script?
I'd like it to look like this
http://www.thegeekgirl.co.uk/pics/picsmain.html
But I'm guessing php & my sql would be loads easier to maintain and set up new galleries.
I'm a bit of a php newbie but i did manage to customise agb to do two different things -
http://www.thegeekgirl.co.uk/guestbook/addentry.php
http://www.thegeekgirl.co.uk/journal/index.php
So I can poke around a bit in php
Any help greatly appreciated
Joel

Thanks.

Just one stupid question - what should they be set to?!

All my folders are set to 755 apart from public & tmp which are 777
My files are all set to 644

Is this right?!

Apologies for my ignorance and thanks for the help!

Thanks. not bad for a total php newbie even tho I do say so myself.
As long as it's all secure and unhackable, I guess it's ready to be released to the public

Just one quick question- If I modified the permissions to change the templates, do I need to change them back to anything? Will this present a security risk?

Thankus maximus

What a fantastic forum this is - yesterday morning i knew nothing about php, but with your help I have managed to make this-
http://www.thegeekgirl.co.uk/bandonly.html
I have encrypted the email addresses, removed all admin links, installed the antispam mod and disabled html in posts, and I'm STILL paranoid about it being hacked!
I would really appreciate it if someone has the time to have a look and see if I've done it right and check it's secure.

Many many thanks
joel
