Alright, I've got this script working wondefully, however, I'm not able to include download counts that my visitors can view. In the read me, this is given to put in the html document, however, nothing shows up. What do I need to do?
=====================================
To include a count number into a HTML document use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/stat_js.pl?stat=file_id"></script>
=====================================
Does anything need to go inside the script >HERE</ ?
I realize not much if anything is being given as far as help, but I wasn't sure if anyone familiar with this type of script would be able to assist me. Thanks so much!

thanks... I guess I thought that email would end up in the mod's hands anyhow. Wasn't sure who all submits scripts for this site.

I find it hard to believe that no one knows of a way to get a hold of the person who wrote the script for this. I also find it a bit odd to offer a script and no followup email contact of some sort. Or at least a response would be nice.

Hi!
I've read your sticky, and realize you may not have the answer for this program, but I do not know where else I can go or who to contact regarding an issue with this script.
I have recently changed over to TD 2.0 to keep track of all my downloads and it works like a dream! However, I've gotten a few emails regarding their not being able to download my files. It will give them a message similar to this:
"Top Downloads 2.0 No valid referer"
Now, I replied to one of them thinking that maybe they tried to download while I was in admin mode uploading all the new links, but I got another message saying they were trying to access the file and said when they tried, and I was sleeping, so there's no way that could be the issue. I do have hotlink protection enabled on my downloads available through my server. I hope this isn't what's causing the problem because I'd like to have my cake and eat it too. In the area my site belongs to, hotlinking is a HUGE problem. I'd hate to find out this may be the cause. Please let me know why I get this message in the first place and what I can do to work with it. If you're not sure, maybe a contact email for the creator? Thanks!
