I'm looking for help on solving my problem.

I've read the guide "Guide on How to Add Poll to HTML page", and still am having problems on adding the code in my .htaccess file.

I use .html at the end of all my site pages, and don't want to change it to .php . I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

When I add the code "AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html", I get the following popup box:

Header: Opening index.html

You have chosen to open
index.html
which is a HTML file

Basically asking me to save the file...

What am I doing wrong?!

Lyric how did you fix your problem? I'm getting the exact error message, whenever I try and change the .htacess file
