This is a copy of a post I have done to another user, he had some problems see if works for you:

Log into your guestbook as administrator: ex:
www.yoursiteadress.com/guestbook/admin.php
Look for menu ( styles ) and at the buttom look for:
Server Time Zone Offset

change this setting for your time zone: Note time zone on the guestbook is the time zone where your server is locate, so if your server is locate anywhere at West Coast time Lets say San Jose,CA, and you are on lets say New York, you will need to edit the offset to (-3) + 1 to compesate for the daylight savings therefore on this situation you edit offset to (-4) summertime and ( -3 )on winter. Here is a table with dates: Use it to know when to change the time on your guestbook.

2003 April 6 October 26 Europe March 30 October 26
2004 April 4 October 31 Europe March 28 October 31
2005 April 3 October 30 Europe March 27 October 30
2006 April 2 October 29 Europe March 26 October 29
2007 April 1 October 28 Europe March 25 October 28
I agree with ( spor ) you need to use relative path.
you can use something like this:

The first part of the counter code is <img src="http://yourdomain.com/www/counter/img_counterw?
followed by your login name i.e. name (www)
followed by the path and name of the file i.e. /www/index.html
followed by ">
Remember not to put any spaces in the code.

You should end with some code that looks like this:

<img src="http://yourdomain.com/www/counter/img_counterw?www/index.html">
What do you want to change?
What are u talking about?
