Hi Carbonize
That worked perfectly with permissions set to 755; you're a star, thank you!

Hi Carbonize
Thanks for your reply. It's the Advanced Guestbook Script v.2.4.4. I am from the hosting company; a client had a problem installing it so I'm trying to help him out. Its installed in the public_html folder in a directory called "guestbook" at http://www.quest-net.co.za/guestbook. I changed the file permissions for the "guestbook" folder and all of its sub-folders and files to 777 too... Not sure what it could be though?

Hi everyone
I am trying to install this script and I get the error:
A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.
I have changed the file permissions for the directory and all sub-directories and files to Read/Write/Execute (777) as per the readme.txt file. I have edited the config file as per the readme.txt file too.
If anyone has any ideas what else could be the problem, please let me know!
