Is it possibly to us arbitrary polls ID instead of the numerical one? I could be more convenient for me to use ID like a021007-1, a021007-2 (type of poll at my page + date + number of the poll).

I asked the same question a while ago, but yet to get an answer or a comment. I also want to assign an arbitrary poll ID, but do now know how to do it manually.

Could someone who has done it or know how provide a suggestion.

Thanks in advance for your help

By the way, I want to compliment to author on having developed an excellent and versitile tool. This is a powerful poll and I, along with scores of ohter users really appreciate it.

Greetings to all.

Finaly I figured out how to assign a poll a unique number. This a method that works for me, but there may be an elegant method that the auther might suggest.

Here is what I do:

1. I create a poll with the questons and styles that I want.

2. The program will assign it a number. Make a note of that number, say it is "n".

3. Go into the "templates" subfolder, find the file "n" and rename it to say, "m". Make sure that the remaned file "m" is a number, otherwise the program will not recognize it.

4. Go the the Admin panel to view the poll list. Now the poll which you created, "n" will now appear as "m".

It works for me. I hope this works for you as well.
