I installed the advanced poll and set everything up in the admin section. Then I copied the php code onto my index.shtml page.
When I uploaded and viewed my page, I only saw a snippet of the php code, not the poll.
So after reading here, I changed the name of my index file to index.php. But all I got was a parse error.
Help!

Put your poll on a seperate page and end it in php. Have a link to it.
Or make a text file ending in php and insert it into the spot that you want the poll to appear.
That should work as it did for me.
