How to reset pw

I have forgotten my password for the admin area. I know the username but no the pw. How do I rest it or fix this? Thanks

yikes don't think you can fix that easily...if you put a search in for 'password' on this site there was post I think titled 'password problem' - it tells you there how to fix it..sounds a bit complicated unless you have experience of PHP and know what you're doing...

I found a table poll_user I hit browse and I see user id 1 then a user name and a long mix of letters and numbers above this it says user pass the the next one is session and last time on. should I delete this?
