I have the Advanced g.book 2.2 (daren't set-up the latest - never works out!) and I cannot do anything to the templates - whenever I touch a line on them and 'submit settings' - it returns with errors at the top in black! WHY???
I want to have my own logo instead of 'advanced guestbook etc.' and the 'sign the guestbook' logos - I've found the code in templates, but the above problem always occurs!
Any help is appreciated!

I also need help with this, any direction is appreciated. It tells me to 'Give write permissions to the webserver on the template files', but I don't know how to go about doing this.

You will have to chmod (set permissions) the directory.
The way you do this depends on the FTP program (use the help file) you use or sometimes you can do this thru the filemanager of your hosting company.
