Daily Counter 1.1

Hi,
I have the daily counter working with text files.
Total visits are OK, but with the daily count I have a problem.
Every night the daily counter changes to 1 but if I came back
to the page within the blocktime or later the counter change
to a value of about 180 or something else nearly this value.
After than it works fine for the whole day.

What can be wrong?

I have the same problem, is it because im not using the db instead? I have followed the instructions to the T and investigated the code over and over again. someone please help!
