GUESTBOOK dead images - after signing, they're ok.

When you first visit my guestbook, the images, gifs, etc. do not show up, they're dead (only little read x's). However, after signing the guestbook, and then clicking on "view messages", or "go back to guestbook", they're displayed just fine. What's the problem? I want the images to display before signing the book of course. Someone please help. It usually takes almost 1-2 weeks for anyone to reply to my questions on here, I hope someone can help soon. Thanks.....

Great - it worked. Now my guestbook will go "live" as of today! Thanks for offering such logical information - sometimes, that works best on this forum.

I've used this guestbook for a few months and I recently switched hosts to another host and then back... When I upgraded to the newest version of the book, it won't show the images either.... It did before... It seems as tho the php isn't getting the hostname correct and so the images can't be found until you goto another page and then back...

Is there an easy way to fix this without going to index.php?

I think your image files are missing Or are in the wrong folder. Like your sign the guestbook image is resolving to this--> http://img/signing.gif When it should resolve to this.-->http://www.pimptiva.com/guestbook/img/signing.gif

They are there... Once you sign the book, goto the admin or whatever and return and it actually takes you to the index.php file, it works correctly... It's when it auto redirects from pimptiva.com/guestbook/ that it won't recognize those files...

the problem is you must add the index.php at the end (or the exact url of your guestbook). this fixed my problem.
