i just installed the forum and cant login on to the admin panel it wont accept the name and pass of the DB in there some default password and name ?

It's in the readme!

2. Goto the admin page -> http://www.yourdomain.com/poll/admin/

Username: admin
Password: poll

and change the username and password.
