Guestbook 1.5... I want to add a section

How do I add a sections like, location, or gender, to the guestbook? I assume it involves coding in the script.

What should I add, and where?

Update to Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1 as this has these sections already in place.

Version 1.5 offers (almost) every thing I need. The HTML templates are easy to modify. I just thought i would be a little more interesting if I could personalize it more to my liking.

On the other hand, version 2.3.1. It's way too complicated for me. I don't understand at all. I can't even past step 1.

To add the new sections will require adding entries in the database for them, making up the form templates for them and adding checks in the class files.
