Okay....got the advanced guestbook up 'n running & it's running great! Well...for the most part it is.
When a user gets into the guestbook for the first time the icons are not loaded. Now before someone tells me to check the rights & what not this is what I found out.
If the user clicks on the "Sign Guestbook" link next to the "Administration" link....THEN clicks on the "Back to Guestbook" link next to "Administration" again, lo & behold the icons are all there! I've tried it on 3 different computers, using Mozilla, Netscape 7.1 & IE 6. Same results.
Could someone please shed some lite on this topic for me, please?
Thanx!

Weird. Change the guestbook link on your site to http://www.herohumor.com/cohguestbook/index.php and it works fine. I'm at work so don't have access to the script but for some reason it is putting the image path as //img/***.gif instead of just /img/ip.gif. Did you fill in the config file correctly? did you edit any of the files?

Thanks, Carbonize! I think that did it! And now that I think about it, it makes sense. It's going to that index.php file when you click on the "Back to Guestbook" link. *sigh* I should have figured that one out.
Thanx again!

for some reason it is putting the image path as //img/***.gif instead of just /img/ip.gif.
I have the same problem.
Changing /img chmod settings to rw did not work (that was a suggestion some other posting).
Could anyone have a look for me please?

Hope you guys find a solution for me.
I reinstalled the guestbook 3 times now and cannot figure out how to fix this problem.
Thanks guys.

open up your admin/config.inc.php and locate
and replace the "" with "http://gastenboek.denbockereyder.com".
