access stats help -------- please :-)

I have been trying to get Access Stats 1.12 to run on my server for 2 days now.........I am a begginer.

I have got the thing to finally work....but it only shows the header of the access stat page........none of the stats are available?

I think this is due to >

# path to the log files from the server root without trailing "/" (chmoded to 777 (drwxrwxrwx))
$base_dir = "../logfiles";

My log files are located in > /public_html/stat/logfiles?
Do I need to set the script to that?

ok.....I sorted out the path to the log files

But all my stat page is displaying are the logfiles? no fancy graphs or bar charts?

How do I get these to display?
