I've uploaded all the files, but in the admin zone, I want to edit the smilies. Only 1 problem: when I push the button there is no smilie to see! If I scan the dir, there are all the smilies, but the 'edit' and 'delete' button are missing. If I enter something, and press Save, then the list is gone!

Can someone help me?

There is a section in the config file for setting the BASE_DIR go put the address in there and see if that works.

OK so you are saying that the smiley codes are not being replaced by the appropriate smiley in the guestbook? If so have a look in the smiley section of the admin and make sure the code is still assigned to the smiley.

Try reuploading all the files except the admin/config.inc.php. Also remember to check you have your permissions set up correctly.

1 - Did you edit any files other than config.inc.php?
2 - Do you get any error messages?
(But if you have a host like mine they may have turned off all PHP error reporting and not bothered to tell you :evil

If this doesn't work I will have to go through the files and try to locate where the problem could be. I don't suppose you could take a screen shot of the page could you?

I don't know why - if it's an error or what - but after scaning the directory, I had to type in codes and descriptions for each of the smilies. Then after saving the info, the edit and delete buttons were added. I just put codes like:

It won't save it unless you also include the description.

The description is used as the alt text for the image. So is it working now?
