I am running 2 guestbooks on my site. The second one I am trying to use as a news page where I post news updates. I would like to change the name of this page from "guestbook" to "news" so that it refers to itself as "news" instead of "guestbook" in the dropdown menu.

I have searched and searched with no luck. Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks

Strange. When I search for dropdown menu or drop down menu, I find lots of posts. Here's a couple:

You might want to replace or delete guestbook/img/gbook.gif and guestbook/img/signing.gif and change the wording in the Lang/english.php file. "Guestbook" and "Sign our Guestbook" (the one in red print) are actually gifs. Edit the templates/body.php file, lines 4 and 5:

I had already made the changes you suggested, but thanks. I also have already set up my dropdown menu to link to the rest of the pages in my site. But, I am unable to find out where to change the name of "guestbook" to show up as "news" in the dropdown menu. The entry is not shown like the ones I set up. I'm not sure where to find it.

I checked the links you provided and have spent hours reading other post on drop down menus, but none seem to cover this task.

Thanks,

John

Amber, thanks. after re-reading your post and changing the wording in the Lang/english.php file, I got what I was looking for.

Thanks bunches,

John

Why not use a blog script for the news?
