Help!

im new in php, i tried using your script in our org's website. All seems to be alright but after clicking the Submit button... the return page to the entry page doesnt display

Next time, it would help if you copy the actual error code and also be a little more specific with your post title. Everybody volunteers their time on this forum, since the Admin can't be found. It would help save some time if posts were specific.

: Did you read the doc/readme.txt file? Make sure you completed step 3.

3. Give write permissions to these directories:

- public - 777 (drwxrwxrwx) (directory)
- tmp - 777 (drwxrwxrwx) (directory)

If you get the problem fixed, disable html code! If not, please post here again for help.

thank you very much mam, have read the readme i just forgot to change it...anyway, ive done changing it just now mam but still it wont display and wont upload picture...sorry am really new here i hope you understand! thank you!

The error message is gone now but the page still won't load. Please check to make sure all files were uploaded to the server. Maybe something is missing.

thank you mam, what file do i have to check like a php file that links the needed missing file/s?

i've tried reviewing all the files needed to be uploaded and im sure i've done uploading it all.

Sorry... I just noticed that the posts are actually going into the guestbook, so the files are there.

Look in your admin/config.inc.php file and see what the base url is set to. If you did not set it, do that and see if it helps.

That's great news. I was looking at your page, and you have such a great logo... maybe you will get adventurous and incorporate it into your guestbook? It would look great.

i thought it was already working, but as i was test-running it, it still wont show the page after i clicked submit...ive checked the permissions and set it to 777 (both public and tmp folders)

by the way, thank you for the suggestion of integrating my banner in the guestbook.

I think I made a mistake in the code I gave you. Was looking at another post, and it looks like the base url is not supposed to have the slash at the end. Maybe that is the problem.
