is there any info on how to use the daily counter with mysql? theres no info in the readme and i have not found anything on this site on how to set it up nor is there .sql file to load.

Does it use MySQL or does it do it in flat-file's?

I don't really know, i've never used it ^^;

I believe the daily counter uses flat files. Do a search for silvercounter if you want a DB based one. I have used Silvercounter myself and it's very good.
