invalid words?

some of my visitors told me they got an 'invalid words'-error message although they didn't use any unusual words in their post. i didn't turn on a bad words filter either. is this maybe a known issue or am i doing sth wrong?
is there maybe a problem if you try to post a url when html is off?

hmm, i'll ask one of the people who got such an error message...

Check the maximum word length you have specified in your database. The error message you refer to is when they have posted a word that is longer than allowed.

i guess that was the problem. i already changed this a few days ago. well, i'll see.

Oh and I beleive there is a hardcoded limit of 200 characters per word.
