How 2 transfer from 1 server to another?

Where can i find how do I transfer my guestbook from my old server to the new one.

I tried downloading my gbook to my comp. and reuploading into the new one. I changed the mysql (user, dtabase etc..) but none of the messages appear on the new server.

the messages are stored in your database. You would need to use somethin glike phpMyAdmin to export it from your old hosts and then import it to the new host.

where can i find a tutorial on how to use phpmyadmin. i already upload it to my old server, but couldn't make it work

in the right windowpane you should see Export at the top. Click it then select all the tables that start with book_ in the list. Tick save as file, put a name in the text box and select zip then click the button.
