Can't sign guest book

Hi ,

I just downloaded advanced guest book 2.3.3 and installed it .

Eevry time I try to sign I get this error :

Guestbook - Error
One of the input fields does not seem to be valid

Please help.

did you replace ALL the template files?

It's a fresh installation why should I replace them ? and where can I find the files to replace them ( I downloaded the latest version ).

It's the stupid timehash feature he added to 2.3.3. Simple enough to remove. I'll download it later today and write a mod on how to remove it.

Yeah it just makes the timehash always return true.

i did, get the message, but after refreshing the page work, but now with the hash removed works nice

i am happy now.

I recently upgraded AG from 2.3.2 to 2.3.4 by uploading all files other than config.inc.php. I then uploaded my modified versions of body.php, com.php, english.php and form.php to retain the previous look of the guestbook.

After doing all that, I found that I could not post to the guestbook because I got the error mentioned above - that is:

I came here, and saw the tweak suggested by Carbonize, which I duly put in place. Unfortunately, I still cannot make a post, and I presume others won't be able to either.

Is there another tweak needed seeing as this is now version 2.3.4, and not 2.3.3?

Thats because a new feature was added in 2.3.3 which you are not using as you are using old templates.

open templates/form.php and find
