I did a search and couldn't find an answer to my problem. I have unwanted character on my guestbook, I don't think it's in the body.php file, there's 3 characters over the banner, that I can't get rid of "" the site it's www.elsalvadorrap.com/guestbook can anyone help on this? thanks....

Have a look at the templates and see if they're in one of them.

It's from when you copied your HTML into either header.php or body.php along with a second head section which could mess up your site.

I removed the head tags from body.php, and it still comes up... jeeez... i also tried looking in the other template files and nothing.....

As I said it's either at the start of body.php or the end of header.php. Or where the start/end would be if you hadn't put other code there. It's either after the <body ....> tag in header.php or at the very start of body.php.

Yeah, the only file I configured to begin with was the body.php I grabbed the code, and insert it on an html file and saved it as a body.php I went over and over on that code... can't seem to figure out the problem.[/b]

How would I get my templates to be editable?... changing the permissions on the template folder?

You would need to chmod them via FTP client or file manager.
