confused with setup

Hi. I am using Fantastico through HostGator to install Advanced Poll. It does all the configuration for me so I don't have to mess with any of that. The problem I run into is understanding how to make the poll show up in my webpage. It doesn't appear anywhere and when I look at the help section in the admin panel, it contains this script :

If someone could help me with suggestions, I would be most appreciative! I know someone must have the answer.
