Hi,

Do I need to chmod the "config.inc.php" or even the admin directory?
This could prevent spam-bots scanning my site to steel passwords and directly enter the MySQL dBase.

Or maybe hide the condif file?

regards,
Frank

Nobody can read your config.inc.php file as it is a php file. Also there is a .htaccess file in the admin folder that prevents access to it anyway.
