Advanced Poll on a PHP page - with an HTML parse section  XML

Here is the problem...

I have oscommerce with php pages that use define() commands to display html.

I want to use the Advaced Poll but the poll keeps showing at the top of the php page. If it doesn't go there it shows it as

poll_process(4);

where ever I place the code.

I'm not good technically but I belive the problem lies in the php code running on the page:





So then I add this:




It shows up on the left top of the php page. That didin't work so I tried this:




That just showed: poll_process(4);

I know I'm close...

I need to find someone that knows how to show php in an already parsed section of HTML. Did I say that right?

Any help would be a life saver!!!
