I just exchanged our old guestbook (using Haloscan) for your advanced guestbook. By simple copy paste (yes I am a simple hobby man) I put the excisting messages over. However now the datestamp of entry is wrong. Can enyone let me know where and how to change this?

The dates are stored as a unix timestamp. If you have database access you can manually change them. You can convert them using a site such as www.unixtimestamp.com

Thanks, but I would need to know (remember I am a beginner) which file is the database (where is it stored) and maybe with which application. I guess once I know that it is just manually entering. As for the timestamp I just made a simple excel sheet to calculate that, based on some comment elsewere in this forum . . . should work without a problem!

You need phpMyAdmin to edit the timestamps.
